Brilliant day, great ski lessons for first timers, great tobogganing

点评：We had a brilliant day at Corin forest. We were there on the Sunday of the Kings Birthday long weekend, which must be one of their busiest days of the year; it was busy but everything was well organised and we felt it was very manageable.
Our 6 year old daughter did a Joeys ski class, which was well organised with 0800-0830 to get gear organised, and then the lesson from 0830-1030. The lessons seemed to have a very good ratio of staff to kids. Our daughter had a great time and came away confident and excited.
We also booked all day ski passes for the whole family - we ended up staying until 3:30pm. Our daughter had never skied before and by the end of the day the was able to snow plough down the main ski slope. We also put our 3 year old on skis and he had fun. We did a bit of tobogganing in the afternoon with the 3 year old which was very fun. As parents who hadn’t skied in 6 years, it was good to have a low-stakes mini try of skiing again. For us it was a trial run before going on a weeklong ski holiday later in the year.
We rented all the ski gear and it was all good quality, ski boots were actually quite good ones.
The setting is lovely and the picnic tables were great for having breaks. The cafe seemed well organised and well catered for lots of people coming through. Would highly recommend as an option for kids to have a snow experience that’s within reach of Sydney/canberra without the pressure/distance/cost of going all the way to the snowy mountains. Also would recommend as a trial/warm up trip with little kids before an actual ski holiday.
It’s important to remember it isn’t a ski field - it’s one sloped paddock with a magic carpet for the ski slope, another one for the ski lessons, and then a third one which is half tobogganing and half open snow play. Overall we thought it was an excellent facility and it does exactly what it promises to do

环境优美，野餐桌很适合休息。咖啡馆看起来井然有序，服务周到，能满足大量游客的需求。强烈推荐给想要体验雪上乐趣的孩子们，这里距离悉尼/堪培拉很近，而且不用像去雪山那样承受压力、路途遥远和高昂的费用。也推荐给带小孩子来这里体验一下滑雪，作为正式滑雪假期前的热身活动。
需要注意的是，这里并不是一个滑雪场——它是由一块倾斜的草坪组成，其中一块草坪设有魔毯通往滑雪道，另一块草坪用于滑雪课程，还有一块草坪一半是雪橇滑道，一半是开放式雪地游乐区。总的来说，我们认为这是一个非常棒的设施，它完全实现了它所承诺的功能。
