点评:What an impressive structure situated on top of a sheer cliff. This was a fascinating place to visit, with a helpful member of staff, informative signs and spectacular views. This is a place you have to walk to, about 1.3 miles, there is no vehicle access. We picked an outrageously windy day to get there, so that was rather unpleasant, but as someone with disability issues, the path is more or less easy to navigate. I almost put off visiting due to it's distance, but it was worth it. It took about 40 minutes each way for me. Dogs are very welcome, but must be kept on leads due to livestock being very much present all along the walk and at the castle. There is a little picture treasure hunt for children, and the opportunity to add a pop badge to their English Heritage lanyard.
I would highly recommend not going on a windy day, as a larger lady, I was airborne on more than one occasion!

我强烈建议不要在大风天前往,因为我身材比较丰满,有好几次都被风吹得飞了起来!
