Beautiful area and Mini golf was fun

点评：We arrived at 5pm for 1 night as we just needed a place to rest our heads as we headed East. Stayed in site 124 in the Lakeside Campground. Site was fine, a little unlevel, but the bathroom /showerhouse was not up to par. For our whole loop there was 1 shower house but it had 2 full bathrooms- so each door was a big room with a toilet, sink and a shower. So only 2 people can use the building at a time. The shower to the right- the handle was hard to turn, hard to turn off and the drain was not draining. The other side/bathroom was a little better my husband said.
We were able to drive to the Mini Golf area and pay $8 each at 5:30pm. The lady said she was closing at 6pm but all we had to do was bring the golf clubs to the lodge when we were done. There was a sign that if you came when it was closed you could get the clubs and balls from the lodge too. That was nice. It was a really cute and good mini golf course. Each hole highlighted one of the Park activities ( climbing wall, picnicking, boating, seeing nature, etc.). A lot of thought went into planning this course - a must do here! Took us 1 hour for 18 holes. We also drove to the observation tower and climbed to the top. It is a nice tower and cool to see the Platte River the and surrounding area.
