点评:We reached the start of Mariposa grove via shuttle. We had heard so much about Sequoia trees and were amazed to see how large these trees are. There are quite a few tall trees in the grove and there are a few extremely tiny ones too, to give a feel of how these trees start growing. The explanations at various points in the grove were extremely good and over that, the volunteers in the tent at the start of the walk also gave us some good insights. One can see the largest tree in the grove (Grizzly giant), the one through which a small vehicle can pass as well as one which has fallen down (this comes the earliest on the trail).
There are good spots to take photographs all along the way.
The trail is sloping slightly upwards at places while going from the entrance. also, we decided to turn back from the area around the grizzly Sequoia tree but the trail goes further if one wants to continue.

沿途都有不错的拍照点。
从入口处开始,小径在某些地方略有上坡。我们决定在灰熊红杉树附近折返,但如果想继续前行,小径也还会延伸下去。
