点评:This is a great zoo for small kids that cant handle walking long distances. The staff are outstanding. For where its located and its size its a wonderful spot to take the family for a few hours. The view from this location of the mountains is great as well and close by to downtown Issaquah for lunch afterwards. The reindeer area could be improved and only 1 deer in the deer/alpaca area. Loved all the macaws that were outside on their perches. My favs were the Lemurs. Tigers are hit or miss in terms of viewing them as they are cats and sleep a lot and are usually laying so sometimes hard to see if they are up behind the rock mountain. The cougars are gorgeous as well. Emus, wallabies and porcupine were all fun to watch too. Dont forget the beautiful wolves. Nice gift shop. A very educational place but dont expect it to be the size of Woodland Park Zoo. I love that it isnt crowded at least when we have been there. Would like to see the entire zoo open at 9:30am vs parts not opening till after 10am. Loved talking to a volunteer at the Lemur area who shared her knowledge with us on Lemurs and the new Lemur baby that was only a few days old. A place we visit all times of the year.
