点评:I arrived for a film at around 11am. I waited at the ice cream counter (lights on, till illuminated etc.) so we could take ice creams into the film. There was one young lad serving and an older lady who kept popping in and out. I waited for the lad to serve his customer, but he continue to serve someone who'd arrived later. We were very clear to see and obviously wanted ice cream.
I went to ask about staff at the ticket office, where a young lad, who'd been on his phone, told me to wait at the counter. I went back to my group, but the server continued to serve customers who'd arrived after us. I called politely to ask if he would serve us. He said 'you can see I've got a queue' in a rude tone. There was only ever a two person queue so there was no need for him to be flustered. I told him that he hadn't even acknowledged us or asked us to join another queue even though we'd waited over 5 minutes and were not far away. We were 4 tall people, onmy a couple of metres from him, it wasn't hard to see us!
I had no wish to queue behind people who had arrived 10 minutes later than us at this point, so we didn't buy anything.
The lady collecting tickets asked how we were, I told her of my complaint, which she tried to gloss over. I asked her to pass this on to someone, and at this pont she apologised.
2 stars given as the cinema was so comfy, but I hope this is not the standard of service to expect. I have not been successful in hearing back from the cinema about my complaint.
