点评：Our hotel room had direct views to the Terminal, Osanbashi Pier and the general harbour area adjacent. On 13th October we arrived early for embarkation so that we might browse the terminal building both inside and the rooftop area. The pier has served as a passenger terminal since 1894 and the present terminal since 2002. Level 2 was the location of all formalities prior to embarking and also includes various shops and dining outlets. Very well organised, efficient staff breezed through the formalities and porterage was excellent. The rooftop was designed to represent waves and has an observation deck, grassed areas and ablution facilities. We didn't spend much time on the rooftop as we were eager to board our ship, the Noordam.
We were very impressed with the crowd of locals that arrived to give the ship a flag waving sendoff, every vantage point on the roof area seemed occupied.
