Very pleasant little gardens, if a bit overpriced

点评：We had a very enjoyable hour or so wandering around the gardens, enjoying the mostly shady pathways whilst looking at the various trees etc. The gardens are well maintained and have some lovely specimens, particularly palms and cacti but also several other notable huge trees. We also enjoyed the antics of the numerous resident peacocks, including at least one brood of chicks with their mum, plus cockerels and lizards.
The cafeteria was unsurprisingly closed, as it was very quiet, but the toilets were open.
You can walk from Arucas (we were staying nearby and did the walk on another occasion), but it’s not very pleasant being on a main road with no path. It is only 2 minutes from Arucas on the bus, which is hourly during the week and very cheap.
If you are coming to visit Arucas, then the gardens are worth a stop, but I wouldn’t come specifically just to see them.
