点评:We had an amazing afternoon and cooked such delicious food with Chef Da. He picked us up right from our hotel and took us to an open air market in Chiang Mai. As we walked around, he told us about the various foods we were seeing as he bought the ingredients for our dishes. Then we drove to his house and he gave us a tour of his beautiful garden. His wife prepared our ingredients so they were ready for us to chop up and cook. Making curry paste from scratch was by far the coolest part. You put all the ingredients into a mortar and pound it with pestle until it's paste. The yellow curry and mango sticky rice were our favorite dishes but we also cooked pad Thai, cashew chicken, tom kha gai soup, and tom yum soup, which were all delicious. Of note, we were able to book this last minute and Da was responsive by email and very flexible to our last minute date/time change.
