点评:Asked by email to call prior to arrival; which I did. And was hung up on. Called back and was able to make myself undersood by stating my name again “Ich bin (my name),” and the words “reservation” and “der heurige”. The dude told me it was a holiday and dis I have a reservation. I told him yes and gave him my reservation number. Then, he gave me my room number and a door code.
As I made my way to the room from a bus stop a mile away I stopped to get pizza and a drink. In the middle of the meal I got a message on my phone “…has been waiting on you an hour at the hotel.” No mention had been made of someone waiting- thats normally not done if you are given a Door CODE.
Hastily finished my meal and walked a block to the lodging. The worker sure enough was waiting on me, and made sure to tell me how long. I set her straight, then apologized to her for raising my voice. The whole situation was the dude’s fault on the earlier phone call.
