点评：Fantastic day out. Drove from Lourdes, about 1 hour, to Pont d’espagne. Huge carpark - you collect a ticket as you go in and put it in on the way out to lift the barrier. It is 8 euros to park unless you also pay to use the cable car and chairlift in which case it is free.
Toilets to the left behind the ticket office. Ticket office is on the left. Cost us 24 euros one way, for two for the combined cable car then chair lift. They were fun. Takes a half an hour to get up, then an easy 15 min walk to the Lac where there is a restaurant/cafe (only takes cash and fairly expensive). We walked around the Lac to the head of the Lac to have a picnic. I am only moderate fitness and it is quite a rocky trail but worth it, took about half an hour. You have to jump across a small stream to get to the meadows. You can walk for much longer further up the valley but it is a proper hiking trail. It is beautiful scenery and stunning wildflowers.
We walked back down rather than taking the chairlift and cable car. It took 1 hour 10 mins and was rocky and steep in parts, all the way down through the forest. My knees felt it! You can also walk up this way. Fantastic day out, loved it.
