点评:Nausicaa is not an aquarium, but aims to be a family-friendly museum of the sea and all its creatures, thus including penguins and sea lions. It is the main tourist attraction in this area of Northern France, and gets very busy. It had been revamped since our visit; this started in 2022 and won't be complete until 2028. It contains a range of sea creatures in tanks of various sizes, from very small to very large. The most spectacular part for me was seeing a diver enter the largest tank to feed its inhabitants. Nausicaa is divided into four themed zones, each opening off a central atrium. Yet it is frustrating to visit. Some of the creatures are in tiny tanks, thus hard to see when the place is crowded. The rooms are all very dark, meaning that those with weak sight may struggle, and it becomes very easy to lose people. Some of the tanks seem to have been designed more to create a beautiful display (eg the jellyfish) than create an authentic marine environment. The experience is on several floors, but you never know which one you're on and it is difficult to get from one to another, as each lift only connects two floors. It is a nightmare for those with pushchairs (many) or wheelchairs.
There are very few explanations of what you are looking at in each tank. For the sealion shows (not the most exciting I've seen, by the way) crowd control was absent.

对于每个水箱里看到的景象,几乎没有任何解释。对于海狮表演(顺便说一句,这不算是我看过的最精彩的表演),现场几乎没有人流管控。
