Top tip for parking! Beautiful walk in the woods

点评：If you go on a weekend the car park will be full from late morning. If you park outside the Crown Inn and walk down the hill, less than 100 metres, you will see the opening of a walkway. I have attached pictures of the building opposite the walkway and the sign inside. This leads you directly to Hackfall woods. The what three words for the location are - ///goggles.gifts.unhappily.
It was a beautiful walk around the woods. Great little spots to sit by the water. We wanted to complete the Hackfall Explorer route which follows the red arrows and is around 4.5 miles. However most arrows have fallen off the direction posts so you can’t actually follow any of the set routes. However, walking around the woods and exploring is lots of fun. The routes are all circular so you’re unlikely to get lost. It’s definitely worth a visit and is a lovely day out. No paths are designed for wheelchairs and some could be tricky for small children.
