Favorite dive center on Dominica
Cabrits Dive Centre的点评
点评：Located very conveniently on a quiet street in Picard, near Portsmouth, they have a nice facility with rinse tanks and plenty of space to hang our gear out to dry.
We dove with them one day, and the two sites we visited, Split Rock and North Toucari Bay, featured colorful corals, some interesting fish and shrimp, and a small octopus! The procedure is to drive the short distance from the shop to the pier, where our gear is transferred from the truck to the boat, a rigid inflatable where you back-roll off the side and climb aboard on a ladder. Home-baked banana bread and hot tea are offered during the surface interval. The owner led the dives. He was attentive but not overbearing, quickly took our measure and let us dive at our own pace, checking on us now and then. We set up our own gear, as we prefer to do, and received assistance when needed.
Cabrits Dive Center was our favorite of the four dive operators we dove with on Dominica, for both the quality of service and the beauty and variety of the dive sites.
