点评：The gift shop was the to be checked and then Don showed two buildings, first was for army, navy & air force, then the hanger.
First Don showed glass cabinets with models of aircraft from WW 1, then 1920s, 1930s, WW 11, 1950s, 1960s, onto 1990s. Three aircraft are a 1930's biplane under work, a WW 11 1940's Japanese Yokosuka MX7 Ohka bomber and a WW 11 German Heinkel late 1944 jet bomber and a 1938 BMW German motorcycle. From the ceiling is a large model of a 1948 B-36 Peacemaker and two U.S. Air Force officers.
Up next is the WW 11 "Memhis Belle" Boeing B-17-just photosgraphs-Flying Fortress. Moving on Don showed what a briefing of a bombing over Germany and a landing on France, D-Day. The last is a Link for pilot training, a WW 11 jeep and an army staff car.
The hanger has aircraft from WW 1 & 11, trainers, cargo and aircraft being restored and a biplane. The WW 1 are two German fighters, a P-51 Mustang, at least two WW 11 trainers, a Russian Antonov AN-2 Colt transport , Douglas C-47 Skytrain, a 1932 Beech UC43 Staggerwing and one biplane from the 1930's.
The last aircraft are five outside are a C-47 1941 Dakota cargo, a Fairchild C-119 "Flying Box Car", a Grumman F6F Hellcat fighter, and the F-80 fighter. The fifth was a unknown.
The total time was in the neighborhood 2 1/2 hours , camera time, talking to Don and the gift. During the time I only saw at most four other people. I would recommend an hour & half.
