点评:I came here on a rainy sunday in march. The visitor Center was almost empty, at first i tought, i was actually alone until i have heard that eloquent female voice hidden behind the front desk. A Lady welcomed me in a very nice friendly way and we started to talk a bit - she explained to me that she worked on a voluntary base to share her knowledge and passion for this region with tourists like me - absolutely impressive. There is really a lot to see and learn in the Museum-like area, so i can highly recommend to visit. When i left, she provided me the latest updates about Lumholtz sightings, and i decided to visit the nearby falls first (5 min walk) and the do the Rainforest Walk on the other side of the road. I can also recommend to do this little 1km / 30 min walk, it was just beside the road but after a few steps you enter a completely diffrent world. I couldn't spot tree kangaroos, but many birds, heaps of turtles (there's a viewing platform) and my personal highlight was a Green Ringtail Possum. Overall, a very pleasant stop.
