点评：We booked D-Day Experience Tours for a customized tour of D-Day landings on Juno Beach, specifically pertaining to the mission and objectives of the North Shore Regiment as I wanted to know more about my grandfather’s participation in the war.
Sylvain was an exceptional guide, and took the time to research my grandfather’s D Company activities, and tailored the tour around it. He tells a compelling story, and answered all the questions we had and more. We visited all the important sites and retraced the North Shore Regiment’s foray inland, all the way to the Aerodrome de Carpiquet.
We came out of this experience feeling extremely grateful for the sacrifice these young men made, and gained a new appreciation for the struggles, challenges and monumental task that was facing them. I would very highly recommend this tour with Sylvain Kaast, as it offers an extraordinary look into WWII and provides context that cannot be truly understood and appreciated by reading books or by visiting a museum.
