From Mix‑Up to Memorable Day – A Fantastic Steam Train Experience

点评：We had such a fantastic day on the steam train. It actually started with a bit of a mix‑up — we accidentally walked up to Bontnewydd station instead of Caernarfon. Just before departure, they called my mobile to check where we were, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They arranged for the train to make an extra stop to pick us up on the way, which was incredibly kind and really set the tone for the whole experience.
Once on board, the journey was thoroughly enjoyable. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the whole trip felt peaceful and nostalgic. The conductor and refreshment staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made everything even better. Our six‑month‑old dog and our daughter both loved it — plenty to look at and such a relaxed atmosphere.
We hopped off at Beddgelert for a quick lunch and a bit of shopping, then climbed back aboard for the return journey. It was the perfect pace for a family day out.
All in all, a really wonderful experience. Helpful staff, beautiful views, and a lovely day enjoyed by all of us. Would definitely recommend.
