点评:This was my first cave “diving” experience, it was a really neat experience. After I overcame the severe anxiety of being crushed under the earth, I had a great time!
There is a trail that connects the several different caves (above ground) but it’s a bit overgrown and hard to follow. None of the caves were very big, it took maybe an hour to explore all of them. Very family friendly exploration spot!
The temperature difference between the inside of the caves & outside feels like 30 degrees. Bring a jacket, you’ll want it! It’s so nice to walk into a cold cave on a hot summer day though, especially after walking in the sun to get there!
Parking was ok, there were not too many people there and everyone parked on the side of the road, but I imagine if it ever gets packed parking would be a nightmare!
I was sad to see graffiti and some trash in/around the caves but being so close to town I’m not surprised people are disrespecting it. The sand was very clean though!
All in all, I probably wouldn’t come back here, but it was a nice first experience with caves and the town has lots of things to do during the day since this is a quick visit!
