Nice accommodation - non existent fish
Woodland Waters Fishing的点评
点评：We stayed in the Kingfisher Lodge which was really nice and fresh. We came away for our son’s 13th birthday as he’s now well into fishing. The lodge came with a fishing ticket for the three nights we were here for I believe.
The lodge’s are all near the “match” lake. However, you will see fish jumping occasionally but not any of them bite.
We were told to try the specimen lake. That was a blank too.
I would have been happy to put it down to our fishing skills however no one was catching a thing not even on the silver fish pools.
Shop was as expected quite pricey and the customer service skills of the woman working in there matched that of Vladimir Putins political skills. They sold us barbed gear even after we had told them we were fishing here for three days and they were going to be used 🤦♂️
The site is clean and tidy but there are people walking and driving around you the whole time you fish so don’t expect it to be a very intimate affair either
