点评:Saw the TV advertisements for tantalising slow cooked brisket, ribs, etc. So rang ahead to book in for a group of 8 and advised them we were coming for the slow cooked menu. They confirmed they had the low and slow menu available.
On arrival the next day we were in the hotel 30 minutes before a large group of seniors arrived for a set menu (not low and slow).
Staff advised us that they were out of brisket, only had 3 beef ribs, out of pickles, etc. So we made do with what they did have.
Beef Ribs. Terrible - tough as an old boot. Inedible. Needed at least another hour or two cook time.
Pork rib. Ok, a bit on the dry side. Probably reheated from previous day.
Burnt ends - came out cold, so we sent them back. Next time came out Luke warm. By this time we didn’t care.
Chicken Wings - succulent.
Corn - great
Mac and Cheese - great
Kransky and Chorizo - nice.
Staff were very friendly and apologetic, but overall a few issues in the kitchen to be sorted out.
