Cronin's Sheebeen的点评
点评：It may be that some restaurants judge themselves on “cooking fresh”. This was the case at Cronin's Sheebeen, Westport. Indeed when the food actually arrived an hour later, it was average at best and not worth the price.
Not that we have a problem with waiting. “The pork belly was the problem” we were told and after 45 minutes one starts to wonder what’s going on in the kitchen. Was the pig dead? Could it not be caught? All we could do was watch and wait.
As for recommendation - this was a bad experience. The service was slow; the menu was average, the food was expensive and under-delivered on taste. On top of that having questioned the speed of service twice and once again on paying the bill, the attitude was off handed and verging on rude.
Sheebeen today and gone tomorrow! We’ll not be back.
