点评：My family and I visited Boyles Bar while attending a concert in Slane. We spent a considerable amount of money in the bar over the course of our visit.
Unfortunately, our experience took a very unpleasant turn. My partner was verbally abused by a local while simply having a bit of craic with our friend. When I asked what the issue was, a local then pushed both me and my sister. As two women, we were shocked by the way we were treated.
What was even more disappointing was the response from the bouncer, who told us it was because "you're not from here and you're not locals." When we questioned this further, our entire family was asked to leave solely because we weren't local residents.
This was an extremely disappointing experience and not the kind of welcome visitors to Slane should expect. The next day, the bar was labelled as “residents only”. I wonder why. It was a poor reflection on the establishment and left us with a very negative impression.
