Disappointed compared to previous visits
Aqua Sana Forest Spa的点评
点评：I visit Cumbria once a year to visit friends and family and always include a spa day with friends as a treat. For the last three or four years we have visited the spa at Centre Parcs in Penrith because we have enjoyed it there so much. We always book a full spa day and a treatment which is usually an hours massage each. However, we were very disappointed on our recent visit for a couple of reasons.
The first reason is a small one but usually when we arrive, included in our package is coffee and a pastry which is a nice start to our day, but on this visit we were told this has now stopped. Between the three of us we paid over £500 so I thought this was a bit mean!
The second and main reason is that the hydrotherapy pool was unavailable as it was being renovated and nobody bothered to tell us in advance. We did not know until we arrived for our spa day and could see that it was screened off. We were very disappointed as we are all in our 60s and find the hydrotherapy pool extremely beneficial and usually spend quite a bit of time in it. It was a bit too cold to use the outdoor pool which is just a normal swimming pool so we were left with the saunas and steam rooms. We all felt very disappointed that the hydrotherapy pool was not available and feel we should have been told in advance or given a reduction in the cost of the spa day. Or, at the very least, a coffee and a pastry!!
I appreciate that repairs and renovations need to be carried out but they could at least have let us know as we would have probably gone somewhere else where we could have got what we were paying for but that is probably the reason why they don't tell people which is very unfair if that is the case.
