Fantastic five day trip down Dumoine River

点评：My son and I did the five day Dumoine River Getaway trip with these guys and I can’t thank them enough for what was an exemplary adventure. Our guides Graham, Holly and Hannah were professional, charming and hard-working , creating a leadership atmosphere that instilled confidence and enthusiasm across our group of 11, aged 17 to 80. The river was running at 40% above its normal summer volume thanks to heavy rain in the preceding weeks, which just made the rapids more challenging and more fun. Like everyone else we were near novices but if you listen carefully you soon learn the ropes, and if you fall in in summer, the water is likely warmer than you may expect! We saw no-one for the first three days and only a few remote cottages after that. We camped at known spots along the river - thunderboxes being the only facility! - and what few organised opportunities there are to do this river mean you’re unlikely to run into any other trips. A 10 out of 10 experience from the booking process right through to the final goodbye. Well done Black Feather.
