Something nice and different to do in Barbados
Brighton Farmers Market的点评
点评：Brighton market is a nice Saturday morning excursion for family (young kids can play and run around) but also for family and friends to meet over coffee etc.
I have been there 3 times over 12 years as a visitor to Barbados and it continues to grow without loosing its appeal. The location of the new coffee station which was very busy but went quickly was new this time. The coffee was great. We had crepes for breakfast and enjoyed a sit under the large shady trees.
There are lots of pop up shop options of food and homemade delicacies if you enjoy this too. It is well run and well organized. The time is 6:30-10 but by 9:30 it starts to empty out as most of the food items have sold out etc.
If there was one thing I would like to see added it would be a breakfast menu ; omelets ; eggs ; trini chokas etc.
There is also produce ; fresh eggs and even art work on sale. The drive there and back is itself a nice view of Barbados farming areas. It is peaceful and quiet ; no music ; just chatting and laughter. A must do if you are there on a Saturday and even want to connect with someone you know in Barbados just meet them at “Brighton market”.
