Nice Market, but not a good local feel or experience.
Brighton Farmers Market的点评
点评:This was a nice market. There are some great vendors, here, wonderful food and artwork, however to be honest it felt a bit white washed, we really where hoping to have a bit more of an island feel to it, where really it just seemed to be a bunch of expats living in Barbado's selling to others, rather than local farmers and vendors selling their goods.
This really would have been a great opportunity for local vendors and farmers to sell and show off their goods, can keep the current vendors, but could easily double or even triple the size of the vendors by allowing others in to sell and provide their goods. As travellers that go to Farmers markets everywhere we travel this was the least local represented one we have experienced. I say that with respect that it is a nice market, but it really does not represent the local vendors and farmers at all, it seems very curated to a white conservative market which is very unfortunate, and a very missed market and opportunity.
Reviews we read highly recommended it for visitors which is laughable. I would recommend visitors go to the markets in Bridgetown before venturing out to this display of gentrification
