Disgusting low quality food
Mt. Brighton的点评
点评：The reason I’m giving this 1 star is because of the food and “amenities”. Obviously it is what it is with Mt. Brighton. It’s very small with only a few runs and the condition is so-so. The bathrooms are small with only ice cold water- not sure how anyone’s hands are actually clean in this place.
These are my main issues:
The ski shop is very small and lacks a variety of winter gear. There isn’t a single local place that sells high end name brand ski/snowboard gear and it would be nice to see a better selection here. Although they usually have a variety of sizes if you need socks, helmets, or gloves. That’s about it.
But what I find TOTALLY unacceptable is the restaurant. It’s SO TERRIBLE. Obviously the families utilizing this place have money. Skiing and snowboarding is an expensive sport no matter what route you take. Renting the equipment, owning your own equipment, lift tickets and lessons etc..WHY DON’T YOU HAVE A DECENT RESTAURANT?? Brighton of all laces can afford a nice meal. No matter what I order here it’s absolutely terrible. I understand having the quick convenient junk food that kids enjoy across the way but in the restaurant??
Why can’t you have a good burger? Decent nachos! A great fillet!! It’s laughable how bad the food is. Also what is going on with the water there? It tastes so bad. The ice makes the drinks taste bad. City or well water- who knows but it can be treated and should be because it’s disgusting. Please do something about this!
But back to the food menu… there is no conceivable reason why you can’t put together a better menu at this place. The people using Mt. Brighton would appreciate it and it may even make this place a year around destination. Please do better! Everything is such low quality. Frozen then fried garbage and even at that- nasty.
My table of four all ordered different things: one nacho, one chicken sandwich, one hamburger, one wedge salad. The chicken sandwich was terrible. A frozen then reheated chicken tender on a stale rock hard bun. The same can be said for the burger. The nachos were swimming in the “beer cheese” and so soggy with old guac which was actually RUNNY! The wedge salad was so over dressed and the bacon wasn’t even fresh. Such a disappointment.
I’m literally begging you so do something about the awful menu and water.
