Can’t really put into words how bad it was but I’ve tried!

点评：What to say on how awful last nights Xmas party food was?
Everyone was very excited about the prospect of a great evening out with work buddies and we were encouraged to sit down for starters at 1930 on the dot so we did.
Then there was a break of eternity proportions.
Main course arrived after encouragement at 21.45: and warmed up bought in food came to mind, with plastic mash and very simple veg. I had salmon that was patently cooked for 2000 and very well dead. No sauce at all and inedible; I was fortunate that one friend had to leave early so her dead beef was available but at least it had gravy for moisture!
Plates not cleared away before bought in plastic puddings were served and of course most were left.
A lot of money was paid by people who do not have a lot but we’re hoping to enjoy themselves at this happy time of year.
If you can’t produce a package that is going to work then just don’t build up hopes and leave it to real professionals that can.
