Chesfield Downs Golf Club的点评
点评：We visited Chesfield Downs last weekend for a family 90th birthday celebration. We had been before for Mothers Day a few years ago, and really enjoyed it then.
The restaurant area was very busy as there was a charity golf tournament on - we originally had a table in the main room, but thankfully the staff offered to move us into the quieter conservatory, which was perfect. The choice of menu was OK , but I think 3 of the dishes our party would have liked they had run out of / were not available. The 3rd choice for someone ended up being an omelette - which they could do!
When the food came out, it didn't look especially fantastic. My lasagne looked at best something that had been in the oven for slightly too long- but it tasted lovely! The birthday lady had rung ahead and pre-booked a shepherds pie, as that's what she fancied, and they remembered this and served it, which was great. All in all an ok meal - I wouldn't rush back as a diner only. I guess it is a golf club at the end of the day, and looked good!

菜上桌时，看起来并不是特别诱人。我的千层面看上去顶多算是烤得稍微过火了一点——但味道很棒！寿星女士事先打电话预订了牧羊人派，因为她特别想吃这个，餐厅也记得了并顺利端了上来，这一点真的很棒。总体来说，这顿饭还算不错——不过作为食客的话，我也不会急着再来。毕竟这里是个高尔夫俱乐部，环境看起来也很不错！
