Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Feeding Program的点评
点评：We had dolphin feeding included in our room stay and actually selected rooms that included the feeding for the purpose of being able to feed dolphins. On a family holiday for a significant birthday we had 4 rooms and 12 people in our party for 5 days.
At Dolphin feeding time, after waiting in line for 1.5 hours we were told it would be one fish between 3 only. When we finally got to the water after waiting together our group was split up and spread across the beach so we couldn’t all be with, take photos or see each other. Our fit 80 year old mother fell backwards into the waves at the moment the dolphin came over to our group of 6 to feed. My sister helped her stand up at the same time the dolphin was fed by my son and retreated. When my sister advised she had a fish still the guide then told my sister to throw the fish into the water. I asked if the dolphin could be encouraged back as it was a few metres away from us only and was told no, feeding was over. I understand dolphins are wild we have fed them at Tin Can Bay previously. But this being ‘included’ is ridiculous! There were only 3 dolphins and 300 people obviously a mismatch. My advice would be to get there very early! Don’t assume you will feed a dolphin. It’s more watch the dolphins be fed. I was very disappointed that after our experience and being denied the opportunity to actually feed the dolphins, a guide was feeding fish to a dolphin. This after we were told to throw our fish in the water. This should be advertised as an additional extra and definitely not be included in accommodation. I believe including it is false advertising! If you want to feed dolphins go elsewhere. This is definitely not the place to go to do it.
