Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate的点评
点评：We had not been to Benguela Cove for quite some time and were really looking forward to the visit. We had an outside table with an excellent view of the lagoon and vineyards.
We ordered a bottle of the Cuvee 58 MCC, which was delicious and priced at only R195, a very reasonable price.
We both ordered beer battered hake, mine with salad. My partner having seen how large the portions of chips were at a nearby table, asked if she could have a half portion of chips and a small side salad, which is a very common request.
I was truly surprised when the waitress daid that it was not allowed, so she had to order a side salad, which cost R95!!
The hake was nicely cooked but my salad was very salty and comprised four tiny cocktail tomatoes, four olives, some very salty cheese and a significant amount of salad leaves.
It is such a pity that the food is not up to the same standard as the wines, the location and views.
