点评：The Taourit Kasbah on the outskirts of old town sector of Ouarzazate is a very imposing large group of buildings surrounded by a defensive wall. It looks grand and interesting from the outside and so we were not surprised to be charged 20 dirham each to enter the complex.
Unfortunately there are not notices on the outside advising of the works that are being carried out there. It really would have been better if we had been forewarned because once in the Kasbah we found that although nearly all the building are pretty well intact, there is quite a bit on renovation work being done and that they all seemed to be completely empty and we were unable to see any of the interiors. That was disappointing as we found that not only were parts of it inaccessible, but that there was hardly anybody else around except a couple of workmen mixing cement. So, as we could not find any positive doorways to enter and look around the interiors, we sat in the shade a while and only stayed there for about 20 minutes. All the buildings that we could see appeared to be completely devoid of any furnishing or woodwork.
I am sure that when the restorations are complete, it will again be a nice place to visit but I would advise that you check on the status of that before paying to go in and see very little.
