Overall, the park and attractions were enjoyable and fun, although there were some long waits for the rides.
Regarding the food, it was disappointing but not entirely unexpected. Unfortunately, due to a fire alarm, the main food building was closed, and we were directed to another food stand. The queue there was unbelievably long, so we decided to wait for the main building to reopen instead.
When it did reopen, the service was quick, but the food was underwhelming, overly salty and not very tasty.
The real disappointment, however, was the Harbour Party. We attended specifically for the fireworks, but the experience was far from enjoyable. The event was overcrowded, with far too many people crammed onto the boardwalk. There was barely any space to move or breathe, and it felt unsafe. I even worried that someone might fall into the water due to the overcrowding.
Security couldn't navigate through the crowd effectively, and tensions ran high. Some drunk people started arguing and even fighting. Many people couldn't see the fireworks at all, which is incredibly disappointing for an event marketed as a highlight of the evening.
I strongly urge the organisers to reduce the number of tickets sold for this event and to clearly communicate on the website that some attendees might have not only a partial but no view of the fireworks. As it stands, this level of overcrowding feels unsafe and poorly managed. I wouldn’t be surprised if a serious incident occurs in the future if these issues aren’t addressed.
