Beautiful scenery, new management brings new changes

点评：We have been coming here for years and it has changed a lot over the years, especially recently. The rides are now more tame and you can no longer trot or canter on the beach rides. New barn managers recently took over and they are very nice. Guss was our guide and was one of the best guides we have had here -- lots of stories and he has a ton of experience with horses and being a guide.
The horses are getting older but were still capable on the 3 hour ride we took. The facility itself could use some maintenance. It has become run down looking and overgrown. Hopefully, the new managment will take care of those issues once they settle in. Little things like tacking up the horses once trailored out instead of tacking them in advance takes time away from the tour (3 hour ride) are different than they used to be. This probably took 1/2 an hour off the ride.
Overall, this is a good experience in Fort Bragg, but if you have been there in the past and have a specific experience in mind, you may want to ask some questions before booking.
