点评：I loved visiting La Hougue Bie and found it so interesting!
Easily accessible by bus from St Helier, La Hougue Bie is in a great location to explore on a trip to the island.
We arrived at the opening time, which was ideal because we could explore the chapels without anyone else there. The chapels were beautiful and so well-preserved.
Below, I really enjoyed exploring the passage grave and found its history absolutely fascinating. To go through the passage, you need to be able to walk with your legs bent low or crawl through, although there are parts of the passage where you can stand upright.
There is a replica of a Neolithic longhouse, which is really interesting to explore.
Nearby, there is a German bunker which is now dedicated to the Forced Workers. The memorial is very moving and brings the WW2 history to life.
Overall, it is very much worth the money and the trip outside St Helier. From here, we went on to Mont Orgueil Castle, which is only 10 minutes away on the bus.
