A true hidden gem!

点评：I went to Moon Marble Co with two of my female friends. We all are in our 50's and have very different tastes in what we think would be fun or interesting. I know one friend was almost dreading to go but went along with me. The other friend is down to try just about anything. When we arrived, we all thought the building was unique. We walked in and felt like it took us back to our childhoods. All kinds of "new vintage" toys and games. They also have other games that aren't "new vintage". The selection of marbles was amazing! Small, medium, large, solid, swirl and everything in between was represented with the marbles. They also have a good selection of dice too. Not as many as the marbles but still good. The real fun was watching how they make marbles. It was extremely interesting. The man giving the demonstration was also pretty funny. We all really enjoyed the demo! The man also has been collecting toys since 1991. Some of his toys are very unique and some are just plain weird. We did all enjoy looking at them. They do have a bathroom there but it's only one. Both males and females go to the same bathroom. The bathroom even is decorated with old toys and advertisements. The prices on some things I thought may have been just a little high but considering they can't buy in huge bulk like the huge chain stores, they aren't that bad. We saw many families there enjoying the demo and looking around. The longer we were there that day, the busier they got. We learned that the "demo man" had just given an interview on NPR and some of the people there had heard that and decided to come. Overall, we all had a great time. My friend that dreaded going is now planning a trip to go back to take her grandchildren. I would go back too! You won't be disappointed.
