A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Cornish coastline with good friends and family

点评：We discovered this beautiful place f 7 years ago and have been visiting every year since, sometimes two or three times a year.
The whole place is dog friendly. Note that Cawsand beach is off limit to dogs during peak season up to 6pm but out of season they are allowed. All the other beaches are dog friendly stretching all the way round the headland to Fort Picklecombe so not a problem at all for us.
There are lovely walks along the coastal path through Mount Edgcumbe estate one way and Penlee Point the other and Witsunbay is just along the coast with its vast expanse of sand and rock pools.
There are 4 pubs in the villages each with their own ambience and all serving good food. Dogs welcome in all of them.
There's also a bakers/ tea room also serving pizzas and a tapas/cafe. A delicatessen serving fresh coffee and artisan goods, a souvenir shop and a local food shop complement the rest of the ample facilities.
It does get a little busy at weekends with day trippers from Plymouth, but the during the week it's peaceful and relaxing. One of my favourite places in the world.
