One of the best food, beer, and atmospheric experiences in Bavaria!

点评：We stopped in for an early lunch along our 6-day road trip through Bavaria. The vine & flower-covered brewery, restaurant, shops, church, and other buildings sit upon a hillside overlooking a picturesque rolling countryside.
Although there were lines to both the beer and food areas, they moved quickly and staff was incredibly efficient. You have only one choice when it comes to beer: small or large, but don't let that frighten you because the single beer they do offer is fantastic. We didn't plan to have breakfast or lunch when we arrived, but after seeing the food, we decided to have both. HAHA
Although there was minimal English spoken and written, pointing at the delicious variety of food was effective enough. We ended up trying not only a couple beers, but the white wurst, pretzels, and a pork knuckle with a side of sauerkraut and potato dumplings. The beer, food, and atmosphere were some of the best we found along our trip. Their pretzels were definitively THE BEST we found in all of Bavaria with a fresh crispy baguette-like texture and soft pillowy interior. I ordered pretzels several times a day every day of the trip and none could match theirs. I would consider this a 'must stop' place if you're in the area.
