美国空军国家博物馆的点评
点评：We had went to Kentucky to see the Ark Encounter and I had found this Museum online. It was roughly an hour and forty five minute drive. I would definitely say it was worth it. This facility is huge. Make sure you have good walking shoes. There is plenty of parking. There is no entry fee, but they do ask for donations. There are some things you can do that require a fee. We got there just before mid day and it really pushed us to see everything. There are examples of pretty much any type of aircraft. Each hanger is dedicated to the different periods of aviation. There are rockets as well as space related capsules. I thoroughly enjoyed the Presidential air planes. I was aware of the Air Force One on site , but was surprised by the planes of FDR, Truman , and Eisenhower. You are able to actually walk through these planes. There are plenty of restrooms throughout the hangers. I wish they would have had some food options on site. There was a small cafe, but didn’t really feel there was a lot to get there. I also thought the gift shop would have had a little better selection,but that was not a big deal. I can’t recommend this museum enough if you are anywhere close to this area. Make sure you allow for the proper amount of time to see everything . Excellent experience.
