Dolphin House – scenic reef, dolphin encounters, but noisy boats disturb them. Coral unimpressive for snorkeling.

点评：I traveled to Dolphin House from the dock in Marsa Alam. There is no pier, so boarding the boat was done from a dinghy. The journey takes about an hour, leading to a semicircular reef.
Upon arrival, after the boat anchored, speedboats took us to the area where the most dolphins were at that moment. During snorkeling, wearing a life vest is mandatory for everyone—no exceptions. While swimming, you must stay between the buoys. When the dolphins swam further away, the crew quickly helped us into the boat and moved us to another spot.
We did see dolphins, even a larger pod, but I must admit that the constant noise of passing boats disturbs them. When you encounter them, they usually swim away quickly because another group of people arrives on a boat.
The coral at Dolphin House didn’t impress me much—it was colorful, but there were only a few fish to see. Snorkeling also required a life vest, so perhaps deeper areas are more interesting, and divers might enjoy it more.
