点评：Visited Somerlayton Hall and gardens today. The gardens are beautiful and full of colour and fragrance. We asked one of the gardeners a couple of questions and he was very kind and answered us. We had a guided tour of the house. Our tour guide was Dawn for most of it and Diane for some. They were both very good with their knowledge and talk on the place, people, past and present. Dawn asked our group if we had any questions as we went round and she happily answered any we had. We were kept informed all the way round of different floorings so as not to slip, trip or fall which I thought was fantastic for some of us with walking issues and were offered chairs to sit on if necessary. We had a lovely coffee and sausage roll in the coffee shop. Although the cakes looked delicious we resisted. Maybe next time!! Toilets are accessible to all.
