Wow! What a nasty saleswoman!

点评：The JF has two stores side-by-side, and I've always preferred the one to the left (if you have your back to the beach). It has more all-cotton things. Anyway, I was in the store today (1/10/25) around 1/1:30 and it was not busy at all. I saw a scarf/sarong tied on a bust form and asked the saleswoman if she had any more in that color. She acted like I was really putting her out. She started rummaging in a drawer, not able to find one, then stepped away for a minute or so, leaving the drawer open. I started looking in the drawer myself (trying to help her!) and she came back and said VERY sharply, "You are NOT to touch those!" I almost walked out right then and there! Turned out she didn't have any more, so I asked if I could try on the one on the display. She very grudgingly said ok. Ultimately I chose another color of the sarong, so when I went to pay for it, I thanked her for letting me try the display one and passed it back to her. She practically threw it down on the counter with a really pissed look on her face. I don't think I'll return here. Interestingly enough, the staff at their sister store, The Lazy Lizard, are not as nice or English-fluent as THEY used to be, either. I've worked retail and I know it's not easy, so I really try to be nice and respectful -- and maybe the JF saleswoman was having a terrible day -- but geez.
