点评：There are many pubs in Dingle--but this one had my heart. Push open the door and an older world beckons— the floors are slabs of Valentina flagstone and salvaged main masts rise to the ceiling. If you're. there before the music, just wait. Instruments will arrive. Pull up a stools. Be ready to be delighted. A cello bow will pull over strings, and a Martin guitar will answer. Sometimes plenty of other musicians join--and singers too. When the music begins everything changes. The crowd is noisy, but the music forms a center of attention, perhaps of tension—and magnetism blends past and present.
Voices rise and fall, blending Irish and English. Fergus has such a fine voice and sometimes, for me often, other voices join in song. You might find you listen differently, here, though your senses surely are the same. But the music and the songs will invite you to the secret rooms of heart.
