A Must-Do Kona Experience
海洋骑士海马牧场的点评
点评：This tour was recommended to us by Sabrina at Jack’s Diving Locker, and I’m very glad she mentioned it because Ocean Rider doesn’t seem to appear in many of the typical “things to do in Kona” searches. In my opinion, it absolutely should. This was one of the most unique experiences of our trip and something I would consider a must-do while visiting Kona.
It is not an inexpensive tour, and I understand why some reviewers question the price. But the opportunity to learn about, interact with, and even hold a seahorse felt genuinely once-in-a-lifetime—and knowing the admission supports their captive-breeding and conservation work made the cost much easier to justify.
The staff was knowledgeable, the educational portion was fascinating, and the hands-on experience at the end was unforgettable. They even added a happy-birthday message to my name tag, which was a very nice touch.
Sadly, the seahorses did not perform the elaborate choreographed birthday dance I had been led to expect—but I’m still giving the experience five stars. 😄
