Highlight of my trip to Peru

点评：I loved the whole part of the experience. I was there with my girlfriend. And apart from us there were a few workers up near the towers working on restauration, a photographer doing a project and our guide. This is a UNESCO that we had all to ourselves - and which we could enjoy the same way as the people who built it more than 2000 years ago.
It was an experience way beyond what I expected - and I did come with high expectations. We skipped Machu Picchu for this, as I had dreamt of seeing it for more than 20 years.
I never refer other people to specific guides - because I think most guides are very much the same, so channelling a lot of business to one seems a bit unfair. However in this case I will make an exception. For one it seems hard to get guides here, and another reason is he seemed very, very good.

He does not speak much English, and my girlfriend is fluent in Spanish, so we didn't have a problem. But I imagine that you will have no problems with it even if you don't speak Spanish - as the concept of the site is simple to understand.
Renato is super communicative (which I hate to say is not the case for many guides in Peru), he was reliable and showed up on time - and after the trip he drove us to Trujillo upon our request (obviously at an extra cost as it is a 2½ hour drive each way)
This was the absolute highlight of my trip to Peru.
