Yes You Can Walk Inside Canada!
Peace Arch State Park的点评
点评：I have never been to Canada. So on one of our "chill days" during vacation in Seatlle, we decided to visit Peace Arch State Park. We thought it would be simple and nothing special. We parked were greeted by Border Patrol and asked where the arch was and if we were allowed to step foot in Canada. Because from the parking lot you cannot see the actual Peace Arch.
The pointed the way and when we got to the bottom of this small hill, there in front of us was the beautiful rectangualar park about 300-400 yards long and in the middle this giant white arch. And yes, you can walk into Canada but you have to stay in the grassy area.
At both ends are floral arrangements: one for the Canadian Flag, the other the US flag.
There was a few nice gardens and beautiful views of the Harbor.
Passports are not needed at the park
