点评:I visited recently and placed an order at the café. I didn’t mind the wait at all, as the young lady by the cakes checked in on me and was really lovely – small interactions like that really make a difference. She was clearly busy but still made time, which I appreciated.
However, I did witness something quite concerning. I’m not sure if it was a manager, but a brunette member of staff shouted at this same young lady (who wears a headscarf) in front of colleagues and customers. The situation was very uncomfortable to watch – she was visibly embarrassed, fighting back tears, and no one seemed to reassure or support her.
After this, she was reassigned to other work and was no longer able to make my order, which led to further delays. It seemed very unfair that she was left handling so much on her own while other staff members stood by. If she is new, it didn’t look like the workload was being shared or that she was being supported.
I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to highlight. The young lady was doing her best and deserves encouragement, not to be singled out publicly in this way
