Glad we stopped in for a tour
Martinsburg Roundhouse的点评
点评：We stopped in and had a very interesting and informative tour with Liam. He had lots to share about this historic place and responded well to our questions and comments.
We live near Baltimore and have been the the B & O Museum multiple times, but this was a different experience because the Martinsburg Roundhouse is not as "polished" as the Baltimore one, which gave an interesting and gritty experience. There is one caboose here, and no engines, so this tour is more about the building and how the roundhouse worked- very interesting of course! We were there about an hour, and learned a lot about the railroad as well as the history of the railroad in this area. No gift shop, no entrance fee, but there is a suggestion to Venmo donations ( which we did of course! )
