Dagfields is great but let down by the cafe.

点评：Me and my husband enjoyed our visit to Dagfields, there is a lot to see, so many units of collectables.
We ended up spending a fortune, so didn't visit all of the wee shops in case we spent everything on the first day of our holiday! We'll definitely go back when we are in the area again.
The only thing we found disappointing was the cafe, it was the first one we came to and went through an antiques and collectables unit to get to it. The service was really slow, all of the staff seemed to be in the kitchen, the place wasn't that busy but it was quite a while before anyone came out to take our order. The first item on the menu on the wall was an English Breakfast, I ordered it but was told breakfast had finished, but there was no times stated anywhere. I changed my order to a baked potato with cheese. Sadly the service again was very slow and when it came my baked potato was very disappointing, the grated cheese was bland and looked like it had come straight out of a packet. My husband had chilli though and he really enjoyed it. Overall though it wasn't a great experience and the cafe itself is very dated.
